Where did it start:
Lee joined expand in 2011 having previously spent 5 years leading and training sales teams in the UK and India. Lee originally joined to work under a “digital expert” who is now serving time in Hong Kong (that’s a different story, feel free to ask). Fortunately, within two weeks of starting Lee was given the opportunity to learn and set up the digital division from the ground up.
Journey so far:
As a consultant with an initial focus on AdTech and Martech Lee quickly realised the UK market was saturated with digital recruitment agencies. Lee switched his focus to the USA and began to work with early stage Adtech businesses looking to launch in Europe. After two years of success launching multiple companies the digital team began to take shape, became more global and moved into other emerging areas including e-commerce, social and gaming.
What's happening now:
The digital team has an established reputation in the EMEA and USA for the services they provide (entity set-up, contract drafting, PR and of course, finding talent). The team continues to grow and can count on more than 50 years combined experience helping scale-up digital and technology organisations grow.
