We are currently partnering with a prominent, high growth globally represented player in Enterprise Supply Chain Technology (SaaS) on a confidential and high-priority search for a Director of Professional Services to be based in either the UK or Germany, both remotely

This is a critical senior leadership position responsible for ensuring the successful, profitable, and high-quality implementation of our client’s cutting-edge platform for some of the world's largest retailers and consumer product companies.

If you have a distinguished track record of leading large-scale, complex enterprise software implementation programs, particularly within the Retail or Consumer Goods sectors, this is an opportunity to lead a world-class team and shape the future of a global Professional Services organization.

As the Director of Professional Services, you will be instrumental in:

• Strategic Leadership: Coach, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of 15-20 implementation consultants and project managers, setting the global standard for Professional Services excellence.
• Project Oversight & Governance: Review implementation scope, execution plans, and schedules for complex, multi-million dollar software projects.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Strategically manage resource allocation, team workload, and forecasting to drive maximum efficiency and address potential bottlenecks across the portfolio.
• Risk & Change Management: Proactively monitor and manage project deviations, scope creep, and critical path dependencies, escalating issues to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the final point of escalation and trusted advisor to high-value customers, leveraging deep industry expertise to guide successful enterprise system adoption.
• Process Improvement: Define and implement best practices and project guidelines to promote team accountability and ensure world-class service delivery quality.

To be considered for this high-impact role, my client requires a candidate who meets the following criteria:

• Extensive Experience: A minimum of 15+ years of solid professional work experience, including significant tenure in a senior project management or business analysis capacity within IT Software Development or Enterprise Systems Implementation.
• Industry Expertise: Proven experience implementing complex enterprise software systems, with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience in the Retail, Consumer Products, or Supply Chain Management domains.
• Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and managing Professional Services teams.
• Project Methodology: Strength in both theoretical and practical aspects of project management (PMP certification is a significant plus). Thorough knowledge of Agile implementation processes is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional client-facing presence, excellent interpersonal skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication abilities in English.
• Education: BS or BA Degree required; an MBA is preferred.

This position can be based remotely in either the United Kingdom or Germany with the ability to travel globally as required by project demands.
