Role Overview

Expand Group is hiring a Director of Product Marketing on behalf of this business. Based in London, you will lead product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for cutting-edge contextual video advertising solutions.

This role is ideal for a technically minded product marketing leader who can build GTM playbooks, develop client-ready documentation, and enable commercial success through strategic storytelling and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that highlight unique value in contextual video and brand safety.
  • Build and execute technical go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements.
  • Create client-facing documentation, product guides, and enablement materials to simplify adoption of complex technologies.
  • Translate advanced AI and computer vision capabilities into clear benefits and use cases for advertisers and publishers.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to align market needs with the product roadmap.
  • Own product naming, collateral development, and thought leadership content that positions the company as a category leader.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure product marketing effectiveness and refine strategy.
  • Stay on top of emerging industry trends, privacy regulations, and innovations in video advertising.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical foundation (degree in computer science, engineering, marketing, or related field).
  • Proven success in adtech, ideally in contextual advertising, video advertising, or brand safety.
  • Track record of developing and executing technical GTM strategies in growth environments.
  • Experience creating client-ready technical documentation, playbooks, and product manuals.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience with product, engineering, and commercial teams.
  • Analytical mindset, with proven ability to measure and optimise marketing effectiveness.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling startup/scale-up environment.
  • Knowledge of AI, computer vision, or contextual targeting strongly preferred.
