You will take full ownership over all of our Client's operations functions in this exciting leadership role with teams located in multiple geographically dispersed areas across Europe.

 

You will

 

  • lead ‘hands-on’ the operations strategy and roadmap of our Client's SaaS solution aimed towards the evolution of the TV Advertising industry 
  • Oversee the Client Operations and Tech Operations teams into one efficient and collaborative Operations organisation with clear structures and processes 
  • Attract, hire, lead and retain a team of high-performing, results-oriented colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experience as our needs evolve
  • Regularly report KPIs to management
  • Be excited and willing to go through the opportunities and challenges facing this new role and organisation  
  • Have constant enthusiasm and focus to track TV industry needs, technology trends & innovations 
  • Represent our Client internally and externally with integrity and professionalism.

 

Operations (75%)

 

  • Lead the teams overseeing new client deployments, client delivery, product releases, integrations aimed at our Client's TV Viewership and TV Advertising SaaS products across leading TV media companies, such as Pay TV Platforms, broadcasters and VoD Players 
  • Ensure projects and releases are delivered within scope, time and budget
  • Build a culture to have team-members take detailed account of their objectives, requirements, business rules for any Operations activity 
  • Structure a collaborative and responsible approach with standard documentation, such as project plans, change requests, release planning to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Increase cross-functional collaboration and alignment across Operations, but also with Technology and client-facing teams 
  • Step in if needed to resolve any major challenges both internally and externally 

 

Client Support 

 

  • Structure a client support framework for technical(SLA) support, including roles and responsibilities,
  • core deliverables, skill definition.
  • Minimize unnecessary or repetitive operational staff interaction with a client by creating a flow of automated client support
  • tools in cooperation with CTO
  • Expand the self-service capabilities of customers through Help content through our SaaS solution
  • Create a cooperative environment where support teams are both reactive and proactive in our delivery of global technical
  • support 
  • Ensure timely identification, tracking, and resolution of Client delivery issues/risks across all aspects of one-time deployment and ongoing technical delivery

REQUIREMENTS

 

 

We work with

 

  • Rust (our web services are written using Actix)
  • A combination of specialized in-house data storage engines, Redis, and SQLite
  • Data Science tooling (R/Python/SaS/Knime)
  • Nix for builds & deployments
  • Angular and React for the front-end

Qualifications

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical people, and actively engage in technical discussions
  • Detailed and demonstrable experience in working with large scale data systems, data sources, organisation, cleansing and storage. 
  • Understanding of core technical concepts related to data production plus software development and deployment and can apply them
  • Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues
  • Minimum BSc education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
