Sales Manager, Semiconductors

As the semiconductor industry continues to flourish through unprecedented innovation and industry-wide investments, one of our key clients is seeking a Sales Manager to maintain and strengthen the company's position as an industry leader. Being based in Germany, this is a remote role which will require regular travelling to visit customers, with the core customer base being primarily OEMs. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall sales strategies and results of a major region. At the core of all sales activities, the Sales Manager will plan and implement forecasts, establish short and long term objectives, and oversee the sale of the company's products to existing named or strategic accounts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of sales, including sales processes, relationship management, and ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Produce regular and detailed reports, whilst accurately preparing monthly/quarterly forecasts to report to the Sales Director.
  • Build and maintain fruitful relationships with leading fabs across Europe, alongside Senior and Executive management.
  • Recognise evolving market requirements and adjust sales strategies accordingly, whilst regularly identifying new business opportunities and developing target customer strategies.
  • Successfully cater to customer demands through regular visits, whilst contributing to the development and presentation of the company's products.

An ideal candidate will:

  • Have a degree in a related technical field.
  • Be able to demonstrate previous success in a similar role managing large-scale sales.
  • Be willing to travel extensively (50%) to maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • Preferably have previous experience in semiconductor sales or an adjacent industry.
  • Be self-sufficient, pragmatic and proactive, with a strong commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a valid EU driving license.
