As of 2024, the eSports market is forecast to be worth approximately $1.62 billion and our Client has seen the potential in a rapidly growing market. Our Client is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Chief Commercial Officer to ensure that you add value to their growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing commercial efforts with the current commercial & partnerships team. As the Chief Commercial Officer, your goal is to promote and expand our company’s commercial activity globally which will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth. You will also have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent leadership skills, and be a creative strategist with exceptional organizational abilities. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • You will be responsible for all new revenue streams in new markets overseeing the demand side and working closely with Marketing, Product, and CEO
  • Developing and implementing further the sales funnel, commercial pipeline, and commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Review data and reports to understand the best way to help the company meet its objectives
  • Provide guidance and input when teams or departments are designing new processes or procedures for conducting work
  • Present financial reports, specifically related to sales, to the other members of the c-suite and board
  • Take the lead with the commercialisation of new products and services as the company grows
  • Work closely with our product and marketing to analyse customer feedback to help establish new practices for the sales and marketing departments
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.)
  • Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met 
  • Act to acquire new customers and manage Client relationships (new and existing)
  • Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (sales, campaign management, business development, etc.) to ensure revenue targets set together with the CEO are met quarterly.
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key Clients
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
  • Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
  • Mentor and lead your team to process in their roles
