Reporting to – VP of Sales, Mobility Ecosystem
The responsibilities of this position entail specialised application of sales expertise in the following areas:
1) Mobility data, signalling, and value-added services (VAS) pertaining to IPX services like GRX, LTE Diameter Signalling.
2) Multi Clouds connectivity, API connectivity, SD-WAN, SDN, L2-L3 connectivity, network security.
3) IoT Technology, connectivity solutions and solution architecture
4) SMS A2P monetization, SMS Firewall protection, and SMS A2P Traffic aggregation for customers throughout the Middle East and Africa region.
The candidate is required to support and coordinate with the Mobility Sales Team in engaging on marketing and sales initiatives and projects as well as in prospecting customers and developing regionspecific go-to-market plans. The candidate will be required to travel to visit customers, attend the most relevant events and support sales efforts by providing sales guidance and technical support as needed. The position requires active interaction and cooperation both within ConsoleConnect organization at all levels and across all regions, as well as with our external customers, partners, and industry bodies.
Roles & Responsibilities
• The role is intended as mostly (at least 50% of the time) hunting for new opportunities and generating incremental business for the Mobility Community at ConsoleConnect.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Regional and Global Mobile Ecosystem to lead the Mobility sales efforts in MEA and identify potential new customers to grow the Mobility business.
• Collaborate with the Mobility sales team to cultivate business relationships with customers, either by nurturing existing connections or forging new ones, to ensure access to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Assist the Mobility sales team in negotiating the commercial terms of agreements and successfully closing sales transactions, while adhering to company processes and policies.
• Support the Mobility sales team in the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring all required documents are signed and relevant customer information is accurately gathered and shared with the provisioning team.
• Aid the Mobility sales team in coordinating with the revenue assurance team to ensure timely payment from customers in accordance with their current or projected revenue levels.
• Collaborate closely with Presales Engineering and Product Teams to align our product offerings with customer expectations and market demands.
Qualifications & Experience
• University Degree in Business, Economics or IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Sales Experience from working for MNOs, International Wholesale Carriers within wholesale, roaming or interconnect business.
• Minimum 10+ years of sales hunting experience within the wholesale IP data interconnect, IPX, A2P messaging.
• Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals. • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience working in an international, multi-cultural company
• Languages: fluency in English is a must; fluency in Arabic is a plus
