Tracepoint

3 x Senior Consultants

Tracepoint are a growing Digital Forensics and Incident Response consultancy based out of Fredericksburg, VA. Having recently been acquired by Booz Allen Hamilton, they are now one of the most reputable DFIR consultancies in the US.

The Challenge

Due to rapid growth, Tracepoint required three experienced Senior Consultants to support their DFIR Directors on ransomware recovery projects. At NTT, our first hire had significant experience supporting clients on RR, our second hire was excellent with Clients and our third was a great Senior Consultant all round. The challenge in today’s market is finding candidates with the technical background at the right level, which all candidates possessed.

The Approach

We reached out to every DFIR candidate we placed in 2021 and asked them to recommend a strong DFIR Senior Consultant. All candidates came highly recommended and they are all an essential part of Tracepoint’s senior team.

The Numbers

15 candidates were targeted with 10 interviews.  3 hires were made.

The Outcome

After the candidates spoke with the MD, Tracepoint decided to go to offers. The candidates accepted the positions and have since been promoted to a Managing Consultant since. They are all highly spoken about and are a massive part of the future plans that Tracepoint have.

What the Client Said

“The team at Expand Executive search is one of the highest caliber I’ve worked with in my 15 year professional career. Rather than send dozens of CVs and emails, they target very specific and most qualified candidates for our consideration. They conduct a thorough initial screening with the candidates which ensures that we’re only speaking to serious, potential hires. James and his team has brought us incredibly talented rockstars who have helped tremendously to grow our company in the past 18 months. I can’t recommend them enough for finding qualified talent.”
