Global Account Director 

Tata Communications is a multi-billion dollar global telecommunications provider, powered by mobility, IoT, security, cloud and growth in digital transformation.

The Challenge

The position had been vacant for over 2 years. We were tasked with mapping and stripping the US market, specifically on the West Coast, in order to find the correct individual to head the position. The account is very niche and there are not a lot of individuals qualified for such a position.

The Approach

The position required a lot of leg work and a lot of commitment, drive and effort. We investigated the US market specifically on the West Coast, and had to have a lot of conversations to narrow down on the right individual. 

The Numbers

Seventy-five candidates were targeted with thirty-seven candidates initially qualifying.  Nine were interviewed by the Client and three candidates were shortlisted, the hire was made in 12 months.

The Outcome

After working on the position for over a year, with various challenges causing the lengthy time between mapping and hiring, we found the perfect candidate. She is spot on perfect for the role, knows the account incredibly well, and has a great drive. The company was thrilled with her and sought to bring her on as soon as possible. After a few weeks of her interviewing, she got the position.
