Field Service Engineer, France

Semics Inc. is a semiconductor test equipment manufacturer that produces fully automatic wafer prober equipment. 

The Challenge

Semics Inc is a success story of a productive face-to-face meeting at SEMICON, which was followed by further discussions over TEAMS, a job briefing and a first placement 6 months down the line.  The Client was seeking a high potential Field Service Engineer to join their growing European Field Service Team. The challenge was to find a candidate with the right level of experience, based in the Grenoble/Lyon area, who would be willing to travel extensively.

The Approach

We approached over ninety potential candidates, all with some hands-on engineering experience in the advanced technology sector and living in the Grenoble/Lyon area or willing to re-locate there.

The Numbers

We sent four candidate profiles to the Client for review. Three candidates were invited for face-to-face meetings and the offer of employment was extended to one of the three finalists.

The Outcome

This was our first placement with this Client and we are looking forward to continuing our collaboration.  The successful candidate was a referral from someone within our network.
