Noice is an exciting stealth gaming start-up who are working on building a unique and awesome social X multiplayer gaming platform for gamers.
As Noice are working towards a soft launch of the platform they are now expanding their internal team with key hires that will make an impact on the platform, features, growth and community. The hire of a VFX Artist was to drive their art style and turn this into real-time visual effects, animations within 2D/3D.
We initially set up a meeting with their hiring team and C-suite leadership to discuss the requirements for the role and gain a true understanding on the impact of this role within their business. With this knowledge we then went to market, sourced candidates and set up interview calls accordingly.
One hundred and seventeen candidates were initially targeted with twenty-three candidates initially qualifying. Seven were interviewed by expand with two candidates being shortlisted. The hire was made in four weeks.
After one week of sourcing and interviewing candidates we sent over two strong candidates for interview. Our favoured candidate fit the profile and salary range exactly due to his experience on small scale VFX, high performing animations, real-time effects, 2D/3D, Unity engine and demonstrated portfolio proving work. He was also a perfect culture fit with the team and instantly got on with them all. After him completing three successful interviews he was offer the position and was delighted to accept.
