MiQ is a programmatic media partner for Marketers and Agencies.
MiQ sought to expand their operations into the MENA market. To do so, they needed to find a Managing Director possessing robust expertise in AdTech, established agency relationships, and the ability to lead them to success in the region.
We conducted market research to pinpoint suitable candidates in the region. Our approach combined resources such as our candidate database, industry connections, LinkedIn, referrals, and job advertisements. We conducted video interviews with a diverse pool of candidates, ranging from individuals with a robust sales background seeking a step up in their career to seasoned advertising leaders with prior experience in market expansion. After these initial interviews, we shortlisted six candidates and arranged face-to-face interviews over a two-day period.
Six candidates were shortlisted for 1st stage interview. Three candidates progressed to 2nd stage. Two candidates progressed to the final stage with one offer being made and accepted.
After a lengthy and in-depth process with multiple senior stakeholders from the Global President, Chief of Staff, COO, and Co-Founder, we were able to find the right candidate. The candidate came from an established AdTech vendor who had recently expanded into the region. They had the required knowledge and sales acumen as well as the desire and drive to step into a more senior role and lead MiQ’s expansion. Not forgetting the great cultural and values match!
