The Challenge

The founders of MiQ engaged expand group on a retained project to enhance their UK sales presence and invigorate the UK sales team.

The Approach

This was a highly confidential and complex search that involved deep market mapping and discreet outreach to a defined set of candidates. The candidates had to be agreed before external communication in the market.

The Numbers

Twenty candidates were initially identified with seven candidates being shortlisted.  Three candidates went through to the final stage with multiple stake holders and one offer was made.

The Outcome

We were able to secure a candidate from MiQ’s biggest UK competitor. This individual had spent more than 8 years in their current role and was reluctant to leave initially.
