Kogenta is a leading provider of Location and Movement technology and solutions to over 35 enterprise customers. Their solutions enable the transformation of vast amounts of Location and Movement data into real-world, usable insights for Advertising and Retail.

The Challenge

Having recently secured their first round in of investment and significant Client wins in the UK and Europe, Kogenta needed to capitalise on the market opportunity.

The Approach

This was a classic search where the most important aspect was getting a true understanding of the business need and company culture. Having interviewed two key stakeholders in the business to better understand the need expand took the time to research the location and data sector for target companies with synergy in terms of SaaS solutions and culture.

The Numbers

Ninety-plus candidates were targeted with five candidates initially qualifying.  Seven were interviewed by expand and three candidates were shortlisted.  The hire was made in eight weeks

The Outcome

expand were able to secure a seasoned Sales Director from one of the world-leading data providers. The individual has key relationships with media agencies and direct brands and is an accomplished SaaS sales leader.
