Klever are an early-stage programmatic trading platform with huge growth aspirations.

 

The Challenge

The leadership team at Klever understood that millions of advertising dollars sit outside of the main hubs in North America and sought to take advantage of that.  They needed to find a programmatic sales leader with key relationships at independent media agencies within Atlanta, Texas or Florida.

The Approach

Using our deep and extended network of contacts in the USA we performed a referral driven search. Our search started by speaking with to c suite executives that had hired remote teams outside of NYC, SF and LA to gauge where the best talent was. We then spoke with our agency contacts in those regions to find out who the best sellers where in those areas.

The Numbers

80 candidates were identified, with 15 candidates confirming an interest in the role.  8 candidates were initially interviewed by expand, with 4 candidates shortlisted.  The hire was made within 5 weeks.

The Outcome

On Klever's behalf, expand were able to run a smooth and succinct process and make this key hire within the time frame they had outlined from the beginning. We will now look to repeat the process again in 6 months time in additional regions.
