KARGO are a mobile-first advertising company that creates consistently innovative campaigns for over 200 of the world’s best-known brands.

The Challenge

After securing a landmark deal for some of the best inventory the UK market had to offer, the leadership team at Kargo wanted to make a signature hire and return to the UK market. Having previously been in the market and left they needed to convey a strong story and ensure candidates were excited about their new enhanced offering.

The Approach

This was a tactical search as there was key experience needed from the candidates that were submitted.  We had to identify candidates with specific mobile and/or rich media experience who had an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Numbers

Forty candidates were targeted with fifteen candidates initially qualifying.  Seven were interviewed by expand, with four candidates being shortlisted.  The hire was made in three weeks.

The Outcome

expand were able to secure a seasoned Sales Director with mobile and rich media experience. The individual has key relationships with media agencies, management experience  and previous experience of launching new products in market.
