The Challenge

The current Head of Talent for Gaming & e-sports was leaving to start his own business so needed to find his replacement before being able to leave and start his own venture. This was time sensitive and needed to be filled within 6 weeks.

The Approach

Using expand's unique gaming talent network on LinkedIn helped with this search as it was very niche.  The client needed a real gaming lead who wasn’t just a keen gamer but someone who has been onboarding gaming talent for 3+ years which is always a test.

The Numbers

59 candidates were targeted, 7 candidates initially qualified, 4 were interviewed by expand, 3 candidates were shortlisted and the hire made in 6 weeks.

The Outcome

The candidate ended up coming from a recommendation from someone in our network. Thankfully the hiring manager knew of the candidate and knew what they could bring to the business.
