Fluent Commerce is a Pre-IPO distributed order management solutions platform.

The Challenge

Fluent Commerce is a high-growth disruptor in the order management solutions market, an area with a number of large established players with market share. Whilst being known as having an excellent offering and widely regarded as a disruptor, they are still in growth mode and are perhaps seen as more of a risk in comparison to the bigger companies in the space, hence attracting the top talent they need to continue growth can be challenging, especially in the current economic climate.  They were seeking a Senior Account Executive to complete and enhance their UK team.

The Approach

Whilst Fluent is a legacy Client with strong relationships at C-level, they were trying to fill the vacancy directly themselves. We were actually working closely with the successful candidate, someone we have placed in a number of previous positions, on mapping a small set of target companies to whom they would be keen to be introduced – Fluent Commerce were on that list so we utilised our relationship and made the introduction.

The Numbers

One candidate was introduced at C-Level.

The Outcome

The successful candidate was a perfect fit for both parties; the company gained a highly skilled commercial operator and the candidate joined a small, growing disruptor in the space where he can impact wider commercial strategy.
