Head of Sales, Germany

 

Displayce are one of the leading digital-out-of-home platforms in the world and we've partnered with them exclusively to support their global expansion.

The Challenge

Following huge success elsewhere in Europe, Displayce were ready to launch their offering in Germany and needed a Head of Sales to take on the challenge. They were looking for someone who is an expert in DOOH/OOH, had strong agency relationships in the German market and experience of launching a product from scratch before.

The Approach

We conducted a thorough direct search for this role, mapping out the market with a focus on the media hubs in Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Berlin. Following our extensive market research, we conducted deep-dive video interviews with our potential candidates and subsequently presented 10 highly qualified candidates for Displayce to consider.

The Numbers

We identified a hundred candidates who were a potential fit for this role using a multi-channel outreach, Twenty were assessed via video calls with the expand groupteam and ten were submitted for a first stage interview.

The Outcome

Following on from nine first stage interviews, the final candidate up for assessment was clearly a great fit from the first interview with the hiring manager. This candidate moved quickly to meet with the founders and they all agreed that the candidate was a perfect fit for their German launch. Displayce moved quickly to an offer and the candidate was excited to accept!
