Product Manager, International Voice

 

Deutsche Telekom provides fixed-network/broadband, mobile communications, Internet, and IPTV products and services for consumers, and information and communication technology (ICT) solutions for business and corporate customers.

 

The Challenge

The challenge was finding an individual who did the exact same niche role that the Client was looking to replace - a role that not many people do... also being from the right type of company. Deutsche Telekom were looking to replace someone who was retiring.

The Approach

Using our extensive database and knowledge of the sector, we targeted the relevant companies and individuals within them that would have the necessary skills to do this role.

The Numbers

We initially identified one hundred and twenty prospective candidates, we quantified thirty candidates by phone, seven were put forward to the Client and from this, Deutsche Telekom hired one person. 

The Outcome

We found the perfect candidate who did the exact same role in for a competitor. The individual went through three  rounds of interviews against strong competition and came out as the perfect match.
