The Challenge

C WIRE were looking to hire a Sales Director to sell their solution to advertising agencies in Germany. They already had key relationships with enterprise publishers set up and were ready to take the market by storm. They needed a very experienced agency sales person to help them do this.

The Approach

expand have a very strong adTech network in Germany, particularly across commercial roles. This allowed us to quickly identify five candidates who could be a good fit for and would be interested in C WIRE. Those candidates were thoroughly screened by expand for the role and further submitted to C Wire for review. Four were interviewed, and three made it through to the second round. One person progressed to the third stage and was quickly given an offer. expand group did conduct a direct search for this as with all projects and searched the market for other potential strong candidates. C Wire were happy with the people who were already in process, and expand were very confident that the right person has been chosen for the job.

The Outcome

The successful candidate had a solid track record at companies like Google, Yahoo1, Verizon & Stroer. They have experience across the adTech ecosystem which has allowed them to build long lasting relationships with agencies in the DACH region.
